Thai Son Corporation is ranked in the top 500 enterprises in Vietnam

On November 29th, 2011, Vietnam Assessment Report Joint Stock Company (VietNam Report) in conjunction with VietNamNet Online Newspaper published VNR500 – TOP 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam 2011. This is the 5th year. Consecutive, VNR500 rankings were officially announced to recognize and celebrate the achievements that the business community of Vietnam.

VNR500 rankings are the result of research from VietNam Report, consulted by domestic and foreign experts, headed by GS. John Quelch, Former Vice President of HarvardBusinessSchool. The VNR500 is built on scientific principles, independent and compliant with international standards (based on the Fortune 500 model). The company does not have to pay any fees to get into the rankings, nor can it affect the ranking results. Enterprises ranked in the ranking only know their rank after the Organizing Committee publicly announced on the mass media.

In 2011, the VNR500 rankings were based on the VNR Biz Database and the latest survey data on enterprises across the country. Survey data is updated until 31/12/2010. Business rankings will be sorted based on revenue criteria.

Thai Son Corporation is one of the 7 military enterprises ranked in this table. In 2010, the Corporation’s revenue reached VND3,537.6 billion and contributed VND 186 billion to the state budget. Top 500 largest enterprises in Vietnam do not distinguish between state-owned enterprises, foreign enterprises or private enterprises, in order to be ranked in the list of enterprises of all sectors, the minimum turnover of enterprises must Over 1500 billion.

Businesses in VNR500 in 2011 increasingly proved their strength with the first Top 30 enterprises eligible to join the club $ 1 billion turnover with the average revenue of the group reached 3, $ 2 billion (up from $ 2.7 billion in the 2010 rankings).
